What you are buying
A physical 3D printed mold set produced by MegaStar 3D Printing built for repeated use when cared for properly
Minimum print bed used for our master molds is 230 x 230 mm to preserve accurate geometry and clean stack fit
Use a light coat of vegetable oil before each pour then clean and dry after release
Simple casting steps
- Align and tape or clamp mold halves
- Oil all interior faces
- Seat outer mold onto base
- Mix concrete to a pourable consistency
- Fill a small layer then place chain for reinforcement
- Fill to top and vibrate gently to reduce bubbles
- Cure for 3 to 7 days based on temperature
- Open molds stack sections and start planting
Tip raise z axis scale in your slicer for the bottom ring if you want a shallow water moat that helps deter snails
