Zipper Fidget
If you enjoyed the Zippy Bag Clip but prefer something simpler this remix is perfect for you! This version is a zipper design made shorter for quicker printing and more convenience.
Printing Instructions
The Zipper piece consists of a base and two rows of pivoting teeth all printed in place. Use a 0.2mm layer thickness and 0.4mm perimeter lines for best results. For customization you can extend the zipper length by printing additional link pieces in your slicer.
Assembly Steps
Once printed leave all parts connected except the final links at both ends. Carefully break off these links and keep them aside. Then cut 22 pieces of 1.75mm filament each 6mm long and proceed with assembling the zipper using needle nose pliers.
Final Assembly
Once all the pins are in place break the joints free carefully with pliers. Once all the joints are free mesh the two halves of the zipper together and add the Slider piece. Re-assemble the last two end links with the hinge pins and you're done!
